The Immunology, Cardiovascular & Neuroscience Development organization aspires to develop and deliver innovative medicines to patients globally, addressing high unmet medical needs and transforming the lives of patients. Working cross-functionally in matrixed teams to accelerate development of new therapies, our focus on people empowers decision making at all levels of the organization.

Global Biometrics & Data Sciences

Global Biometrics & Data Sciences
The Global Biometrics and Data Sciences (GBDS) team provides value to R&D through their multifaceted support. Firstly, they support exploratory research design and analysis (EDTs) by collaborating in the exploration of biomarkers, utilizing a quantitative decision framework to progress assets from early to late stage (GT4), and in clinical development they support registrational study design and analysis (FDTs) by engaging regulators, responding to global Health Authorities, supporting publications/findings at medical congresses (e.g., ASCO), and informing/developing regulatory submissions. Lastly, the GBDS team ensures the appropriate scientific interpretation of data and asset value, expands upon clinical trial data to support key messages for payers and HCPs, and supports publications, Investigator Sponsored Research (ISRs), and Market Access needs (e.g., pricing and reimbursement). By providing these three areas of support, the GBDS team plays a critical role in advancing drug development and ensuring that our products are accessible to patients who need them.

Global Development Operations
Conducting clinical trials is one of the company’s most critical pursuits to develop and bring new medicines to patients in need. Global Development Operations (GDO) leverages the science of clinical operations to plan, manage and execute BMS clinical trials across over 40 countries and 40 disease areas. GDO’s core strategy is to build and sustain superior clinical trial execution, collaborating and innovating on behalf of BMS patients and sites while never compromising on ethics, integrity, and compliance.
