Recognizing and Reporting Recruitment Fraud

At Bristol Myers Squibb, the wellbeing, privacy and security of our job applicants and candidates is our highest priority. We are aware of recent fraudulent recruitment activity, including false job offers, money requests, and impersonation of our employees and talent acquisition professionals.

Please be aware

Bristol Myers Squibb will never request money transfers, cryptocurrency, gift cards, fees, or any other form of payment at any stage of our application, interview or hiring process. Our email communications will always come from an official BMS email address. Be particularly cautious of unsolicited messages on social media platforms or personal email accounts claiming to represent Bristol Myers Squibb.

How to protect yourself

  • Do not respond to requests for financial or personal information, including bank details or Social Security numbers, prior to receiving a verifiable job offer.
  • Bristol Myers Squibb will not ask you to purchase equipment or pay fees of any kind.
  • If you receive suspicious communication, please forward the email or message to cyber.operations@bms.com so we can respond to these threats appropriately.
