Human Resources Leadership Development Program Summer Intership

Transform your education and experience into fast-track career growth. Work alongside the global colleagues in our HR organization to support the success and innovations of our people while helping patients prevail over serious diseases.

This is a 10-week summer internship.

Upon successful completion of the internship, you may be considered for a position in our HR Leadership Development Program, a full-time, three-year rotational program designed to prepare future leaders at Bristol Myers Squibb.

This is a 10-week summer internship that runs from June-August each year

Gain an introduction to the BMS Human Resources department as a member of our HR Business Partner or Center of Expertise teams.

Participate in hands-on, real-world projects that offer exposure to senior leadership.

Receive developmental feedback and coaching, and participate in team building, networking and social events with colleagues.

Requirements & eligibility for the Human Resources Leadership Development Program

  • Currently enrolled in a Master’s program with a concentration in Human Resources or a related focus.
  • Anticipated graduation date of May 2026.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence others and work effectively in a matrix organization.
  • Leadership potential is highly valued as well as a commitment to integrity, professionalism and collaboration.
