Rayzebio is a dynamic biotechnology company headquartered in San Diego, CA.
Launched in late 2020 and recently acquired by Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS) as a wholly owned subsidiary, the company is focused on improving survival of people with cancer by harnessing the power of targeted radioisotopes.
Rayzebio will operate as a standalone entity within the BMS organization, maintaining its biotech culture with the opportunity to leverage the best-in-class oncology capabilities of BMS. Rayzebio is developing innovative drugs against targets of solid tumors.

We believe we have established a leadership position in the emerging radiopharmaceutical therapeutics modality through a product-centric approach and have created a pipeline of multiple drug and development candidates in therapeutic areas with significant market opportunities.
Background
Despite recent therapeutic advances, there remains a high unmet need for new cancer treatments. External beam radiation, administered by high-energy rays, is a proven approach for many cancers. In contrast, radiopharmaceutical therapy (RPT) delivers radioisotopes to tumors intravenously.
We believe RPT is a promising new modality for treating solid tumors, offering both diagnostic and therapeutic benefits. The same drug conjugate can be used for diagnostic imaging and therapy by switching the radioisotope.
Both antibody drug conjugates (ADCs) and RPT consist of a binder, linker and payload targeting cancer cells. However, we believe RPT may offer advantages over ADCs in efficacy and safety.

Our 63,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility has been operational since 2023. Indianapolis has a central location in the United States, allowing for ground shipments to a large number of cities within two days of manufacture. This facility has the capacity to support manufacturing for clinical development and commercialization of our pipeline programs.
San Diego, CA
Our state-of-the-art 28,000 sq. ft. radiopharmaceutical research facility enables us to carry out all aspects for discovery of novel drug candidates. This center of excellence includes:
- Radiochemistry labeling lab for alpha and beta radioisotopes
- Vivarium with molecular imaging and biodistribution analysis
- Full in-vitro biological characterization
- Small molecule and peptide chemistry capabilities
- DMPK suite
